S.O.S.
(apologies for the double-post, but this is obviously more suited to the idle bridal crowd…)
1) We need to think of readings for folks to say at the ceremony—things about love and happiness and togetherness, etc. They can be poems or quotes from books or movies or tv or whatever…Ideally, it would be something from the perspective of an outsider, talking about the love of two other people, but we’ll take what we can get…
2) We met with our DJ last night, and he strongly, strongly encouraged us to rethink skipping the first dance (basically, if we don’t do it, no one will dance for the whole night and the wedding will be RUINED). Can you think of any good ones?
Basically, it turns out that all Mr. +J and I read/listen to/watch is horribly depressing and about misery and sadness and being alone forever.
Any ideas are welcome! Please help?
